In 1964, Ed and Margie Imo opened the very first Imos Pizza at their kitchen table in South St. Louis. With a dream of sharing Margie's family recipe for thin, cracker-crust pizza topped with the distinctive Provel cheese blend, they turned a small storefront into a neighborhood legend.
Word spread quickly. The unique combination of crispy square-cut crust, tangy tomato sauce, and creamy Provel cheese became synonymous with St. Louis food culture. Neighbors lined up, families made it a Friday-night tradition, and a city fell in love.
Today, with locations across Missouri and Illinois, we remain committed to the same handcrafted quality Ed and Margie championed — fresh ingredients, made-to-order every time, and a slice that always tastes like home.
